Evan has been a professional photographer since 1999, but his journey began even earlier—at age 14—when he received his first camera,
a Nikon FE. He still owns that very camera, and his passion for photography has only grown since.
Based in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Evan brings a thoughtful, imaginative eye to every shoot. Whether he’s working in studio or on location, capturing people or objects, he aims to create
images that resonate—catching a shy smile, a rare moment of stillness between siblings, finding that deeper sense of belonging with those that surround you.
These are the reasons great photographs stay with us for years.
His photography is rooted in connection—between light and shadow, subject and space, the seen and the felt.
Whether he’s capturing a portrait in the studio or exploring the dynamic energy of an extended family shoot at the park, Evan’s aim is always the same: to create honest, human images that reflect
the joy you feel being with the ones you love. His subjects range from peaceful infants to cherished elders, each approached with equal reverence and curiosity.
He seeks not only to capture smiles but to invite stillness, subtlety,
and soul into the frame. His style favors authenticity over spectacle, nuance over noise.
Evan is guided by a favorite quote from Frederick Sommer: “Imagination is the spirited appreciation of reality.”
It’s a sentiment that echoes in his work—where imagination does not escape the world, but enriches our understanding of it. Beyond photography, Evan enjoys an active and full life. He’s happily married with two boys and fueled by passions
that include traveling (not necessarily arriving), laughter, great art, and the beautiful game—soccer.
Evan doesn’t just take photographs. He builds experiences, invites presence, and frames reality with care, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the
moments that we are lucky enough to share.
